On Saturday, January 23rd,  from 12:30-2:00 pm, registered patrons can join us for a hands-on genealogy workshop, consisting of a specially set up research space with laptops and other local history materials. Registered patrons will explore databases and web sites like Ancestrylibrary.com, Family Search and more.  Library staff will be on hand to help with any questions or problems, as well as one of our local history researchers to assist with anyone interested in documents, photos, maps, books and more found in our local history collection.

Bring your library card and your family research as far back as you know (even if it’s just your grandparents) and we will help you expand your search.  If you would like to reserve one of our six available laptops for the workshop, be sure to register.  If you have your own laptop, feel free to join us without registering. Registration for the hands-on workshop is required.
