Just Shred It! Prevent Identity Theft Shred Event – Friday, April 25^th, from 3-5pm: Protect yourself from identity theft and get rid of those old documents and folders all at one time!  Bring them down to the library to have them put in the shredder truck and destroyed  safely in seconds. Please RSVP to let us know you are coming, walk-ins welcome! The shredder truck will be parked in the Library back parking lot.

Acceptable Items for Shredding:

Paper (white or colored), file folders, staples and paper clips, plastic ID cards, credit cards, old checkbooks, carbon paper, cds, dvds, and computer disks. 

Unacceptable Items for Shredding:

Hazardous material, prescription bottles, syringes or needles, or any heavy metal objects such as nuts, bolts, or metal plates.  We also will not be shredding hard drives at the shred event.
