MEDITATION 101 CLASS

The Library is pleased to offer a new, interactive program for those who are interested in learning the art of meditation.  Join our instructor, Traci Halpin, longtime practitioner of meditation, on Tuesday, October 17th from 7:00-8:30 pm to learn the basics.

This program will teach the meaning of meditation, discuss different ways to meditate, (there's no wrong or right way) and its many benefits, based on the instructor’s experience and research.  Attendees will practice a basic meditation focusing on the breath, share experiences, and Traci will answer any questions.

Traci hopes to bring an awareness of the concept of meditation, the ease of practicing it, and motivate others to incorporate it into their lives as part of their spiritual and self-care practice.

Spaces are limited, registration required.  Registrants are encouraged to wear comfortable clothes and bring their own cushion if they would like to sit on the floor.
