How to Research Your Family Tree- Hands-On Workshop

Tuesday, January 16, 7:00 pm

Then, at 7:00 pm learn to apply these newfound research skills to make your own discoveries!  Join us for our hands-on workshop consisting of a specially set up research space with laptops and other local history materials. Registered patrons can explore databases and web sites like Ancestrylibrary.com, Family Search and more. Library staff will be on hand to help with any questions or problems, as well as one of our local history researchers to assist with anyone interested in documents, photos, maps, books and more found in our local history collection.

Bring your library card and your family research as far back as you know (even if it’s just your grandparents) and we will help you expand your search!

*Please note*  If you would like to reserve one of our six available laptops, be sure to register at marlborolibrary.org.  If you have your own laptop, feel free to join us without registering.
