Legends and Lore of the Marlboro

for twenty-five miles from Esopus to Plattekill, the Marlboro Mountains have a
fascinating history that includes tales of lost treasure, grisly crimes and all
manner of mysterious creatures. In this virtual presentation, Plattekill
Historian Libbie Werlau will share photographs, maps, and newspaper accounts
that tell of the unusual stories found in the picturesque hills of southern
Ulster County.
