Audiences will\nlearn about the difference between butterflies and moths\, where to find\nbutterflies\, how to attract butterflies to our gardens\, and how to create and\nmaintain butterfly habitat. We will learn interesting butterfly facts and\nbehaviors (did you know that butterflies taste with their feet? Or that the\nViceroy butterfly looks like the Monarch and is protected because birds tend to\navoid the poisonous and distasteful Monarch?).  \;We will also look at the\namazing Monarch migration! \; \;\n\nAfter the slide show\, children will create their own\nbutterfly t-shirts (heavy\, 100% cotton) using a combination of fabric dye\nsprays\, plants\, and butterfly cut outs. Children\nmay purchase heavy cotton shirts for\n$4.00 or bring their own. \; Limited to 25 children.\n\n \;Registration required.
