Virtual Memory Café

Saturday, November 13 from 11:30am-1:00pm

Memory Cafes are a comfortable, social gathering that allow people experiencing memory loss and their loved ones to connect, socialize, and build a support network.

Licensed Creative Arts Therapist and Board Certified Music Therapist, Timothy Doak will lead an interactive musical program for those with dementia and their loved ones.

Timothy Doak received his Bachelors of Music Therapy from Shenandoah Conservatory and a Masters of Science in Music Therapy from the State University of New York at New Paltz.

Spaces are limited, registration is required.

Registrants will also receive a bag of items to go along with the program to keep, including shakers and bells, snacks, memory games, and more. Bags will be ready for pick-up starting Wednesday, November 3.

This program was made possible by a grant from the Mid-Hudson Library System, and was created with guidance from the Hudson Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association.
